Our Story

Big Bang Foundation is a Cedar Rapids-based 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 81-2131907) that focuses on youth-development and technology-access projects. Founded in 2023, the organization operates out of 605 15th St SE and is best known for spearheading Micro AI Park—a solar-powered, AI-driven mini-campus that will give neighborhood students free coding labs, outdoor learning kiosks and safe-zone amenities when it opens in August 2025. The foundation’s mission is to “empower young people with hands-on tools that spark creativity, curiosity and community leadership,” and all donations are tax-deductible.
